What are cookies

The galior.it site uses cookies. As clarified by the Privacy Guarantor in the FAQ of December 2012, available on www.garanteprivacy.it, cookies are "small text files" - made up of letters and numbers - "that the sites visited by the user send to your terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same sites on the next visit by the same user”. Cookies have the function of streamlining the analysis of web traffic or of signaling when a specific site or part of it is visited, of distinguishing visitors from one another in order to provide personalized content, and they help administrators to improve the site and the browsing experience of the users themselves.

Below you can find all the information on the cookies installed through this site, and the necessary information on how to manage your preferences in this regard.

These plug-ins could, for example, correspond to the Facebook "Like" or Twitter "Retweet" buttons. If you access one of our web pages, equipped with a similar plug-in, the internet browser connects directly to the third-party servers and the plug-in is displayed on the screen thanks to the connection with the browser. The plug-in could communicate to third-party servers which pages the user has visited.

*Conversion tracking with the Facebook pixel
We use the pixel of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") to measure the effectiveness of online marketing actions. This tool allows us to track users' actions after they view and/or click on a Facebook advertisement and then place an order. Therefore we are able to record the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected remains anonymous, which means that we cannot see the personal data of individual users, nor associate it with other information about the user.
However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook. Facebook is able to relate the behavior of users who have clicked on an advertisement in the Facebook personal area and have been redirected to our websites. By using cookies, i.e. text files that are stored on your computer, Facebook is able to recognize the user in the Facebook personal area and use the data for its own advertising purposes, for example targeted ads, in accordance with the Facebook Data Policy. This only occurs for users who have a Facebook account and who are authenticated in the Facebook personal area. Users who are not members of Facebook are not affected by this data processing.
To deactivate this data processing by Facebook, click here.
